Project
Mission and Aims
|
The
CAST & Befriending Project aims to provide opportunities for young
people who will benefit by gaining in confidence and self esteem to
help them access opportunities open to other young people.
 | The project will offer support to young people who are in or
have been in care in order that they can successfully make the
transition to independent living and employment. |
| The project will give opportunities for young people in care and
care leavers to assist other vulnerable young people. |
| Volunteers will be recruited, trained and selected in accordance
with SOVA procedures. |
| Volunteers will be suitably trained to provide support and
guidance and offered an accredited course equivalent to NVQ level
2. |
