Project Mission and Aims

The aim of the project is to recruit, train and manage volunteer mentors to support young people within the Youth Justice System, empowering young people to make positive choices in relation to employment, training, education and constructive leisure pursuits, ultimately to reduce re-offending.  Mentors may act as positive role models, assisting the young person to network socially in the community.  They may also provide support to parents or care providers.
