Staffordshire Leaving Care
Mentoring Project provides a mentoring service across the county of
Staffordshire to young people leaving the care of Staffordshire Social
Services department.
The aim of the project is to
assist young people leaving care (16 - 21) to make a successful
transition to independence, to enable them to fulfil their potential
and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
This service is provided
through recruiting and training volunteers from the local community.
