SOVA Bexley recruits, trains, deploys and supervises volunteers as mentors and appropriate adults.

MENTORING for children and young people Our volunteers provide a confidential, one-to-one service aimed at empowering children, young people and parents to improve their ability to make choices, which will improve their lives. Support is provided to assist mentees in dealing with various difficulties connected with, for example, poor self-esteem, education, employment, training, health, offending, benefits and debt. APPROPRIATE ADULTS for those under 17 Trained volunteers attend Bexleyheath Police Station to act as Appropriate Adults for those under 17 who have been arrested PARENT SUPPORT NETWORK - Howbury Centre The Parent Support Network is a fortnightly programme of workshops for parents and carers who welcome support in their parenting role.
