Project aim: | Women into Work: Moving On
aims to get women, who are struggling to obtain a job, into employment.
The programme, is working in partnership with national and local statutory and voluntary sector partners to identify and challenge barriers to employment, training and education for women who have experienced disadvantage.
Partners include Stonham Housing, Sheffield Hallam University, Red Kite Learning, Radio for Development, Business in Prisons, Positively Women, the National Offender Management Service and HM Prisons Women�s Unit.
Pilot Projects
Women into Work: Moving On has commissioned pilot projects to test ways of helping disadvantaged women to move on. The pilot projects are being delivered in the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside, London and the South East. The pilot projects will test ways of helping disadvantaged women to MOVE ON�.

Transnational Partnerships
Women into Work: Moving On participates in two transnational partnerships aiming to exchange best practice with partners also working with marginalized women. Partners, from Greece, Austria, Poland, Slovakia and France are focused on issues such as violence against women, particularly domestic violence, and prostitution legislation and its impact on sex trafficking. Partners jointly develop tools to combat discrimination against women who have experienced such forms of disadvantage. The tools are disseminated across Europe in a variety of forum.
