Sova Croydon Healthy Living Project
At Sova’s Healthy Living Project in Croydon we run sports and creative workshops which encourage local young people aged 12 to 17 to live healthy and positive lives.
Young people interested in sport can sign up for weekly football fitness and coaching sessions or circuit training with a local world boxing champion. Art and clayworks classes offer the opportunity for young people to explore their creative side and to have their work displayed locally, whilst the cookery group focuses on creating healthy meals from around the world using the young people’s favourite foods as inspiration. By giving young people opportunities to learn and try new things in a safe, healthy and positive environment we’re helping them to make the right choices and stay out of trouble.
The Sova Healthy Living Project is funded by the Croydon Youth Offending Service.
