Sova Barnsley Youth Justice Project
At Sova Barnsley Youth Justice Project we support and supervise young offenders aged between 10 and 17 while they are on bail or remanded in custody.
Our team of paid staff and volunteers work with young people to make sure they meet the conditions of bail, avoiding custodial remand wherever possible, and begin to tackle the issues that led to them getting into trouble in the first place. Our staff team and volunteer mentors are there to give one to one practical advice and emotional support, motivating and encouraging young people to make better choices and to steer clear of crime.
Sova Barnsley Youth Justice is funded by the Barnsley Youth Offending Team.
