Volunteer Mentors - Boston

We are looking to recruit and train volunteer mentors to support adults within the criminal justice system throughout Lincolnshire. Working on behalf of Lincolnshire Probation Trust, our volunteer mentors are matched with adult offenders identified as needing support. The mentoring is tailored to meet the individual needs of each person referred to the project. Mentors are non-judgemental and can assist by offering guidance and support to help offenders develop confidence and self-esteem, identify their goals, steer clear of crime and secure a more positive future. Mentors can also support with accessing local resources and information as well as offering a listening ear.

Volunteer mentors undertake accredited training to gain a qualification in volunteering skills and are fully supported and guided throughout their mentoring work.

We are currently recruiting in Boston, so if you live in the area, are over 18 years old and are interested in volunteering, we would love to hear from you.
